Welcome to Rise and Renew Counseling, where counseling is centered on healing and renewing the whole person. At Rise and Renew, counseling approaches are used to form a caring relationship in which you feel comfortable sharing, exploring, and processing your concerns. At Rise and Renew, it is my goal to help ease any fears you may have about entering into counseling. As your counselor, I place a high priority on suspending all forms of judgment so that you feel safe and understood as you navigate your concerns.

Your story is profound and informs how you learned to get your needs met. As we explore your story, it provides an opportunity to grow in self-understanding and acceptance, while learning new strategies to get your needs met. This process of transformation can often lead to feeling better. In my counseling experience, individuals, couples, and families that are committed to the process of change, almost always improve their health, well-being, and quality of relationships.

I used an integrated approach combining therapeutic approaches of humanistic, cognitive, narrative, family systems, and emotional focused therapy. Self-love or unconditional self-acceptance is a common goal in counseling. Christian counseling is also available upon request. It is sacred to journey with people to help navigate their concerns.
